The brief

The distributor sells to tradespeople and facilities managers who research before they buy: comparing brands, checking compatibility, asking increasingly specific questions of Google and, more and more, of AI assistants. It needed a publishing operation that could answer those questions authoritatively, on an e-commerce platform that offers none of a blog’s usual comforts.

A subject far from my own, which is rather the point. The system doesn’t depend on my loving thermostats. It depends on structure.

The system

Every article is produced to the same anatomy: a direct answer up top, comparison tables where a buyer would want them, FAQs marked up so machines can lift them cleanly, and the brand’s own styling carried inside each file, because the platform applies none of its own. The result is a production line rather than a series of one-off efforts: each piece arrives publish-ready, consistent with every piece before it, and structured for both a search engine’s index and an AI assistant’s citation.

Where it stands

The system is in steady production. [Add here what you can publish: articles shipped, rankings gained, queries the client now appears for.]
